Dr. Kristina Lem

Dr. Kristina Lem was born and raised in south Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of Texas at Austin, and then continued her education at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences to obtain her DVM in 2002 and also an MS in Epidemiology in 2007.


Dr. Lem has a wide range of experience. Following graduation, she has worked in private practice, shelter medicine, government and academia.


Her professional interests include pain management and high quality medicine and surgery. She is a member of the AVMA, TVMA, HCVMA and ASV. She served on the Board of Directors of the HCVMA for 6 years.


Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Lem enjoys relaxing at home with her husband, playing with her two young children, two dogs and a cat. She enjoys spending time in the country, reading and watching movies.


Dr. Julie Henson

Dr. Julie Henson grew up in the Clear Lake area, south of Houston.  While in high school, she was granted the opportunity to work at a veterinary hospital, and knew from that point on she would be a veterinarian one day.  Dr. Henson attended the University of Texas in Austin for undergraduate, then graduated from Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998.


She has been married to her husband, Fritz, for 15 years and has two pets. Kirby is a sweet Catahoula and Smokey was once a clinic kitty that now lives with them. To maintain a high quality of care, Dr. Henson completes around 50 hours of continuing education every year to keep up with the ever-changing world of veterinary medicine. She is a member of the AVMA, HCVMA and TVMA.
