Dr. Kristina Lem
Dr. Kristina Lem was born and raised in south Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of Texas at Austin, and then continued her education at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences to obtain her DVM in 2002 and also an MS in Epidemiology in 2007.
Dr. Lem has a wide range of experience. Following graduation, she has worked in private practice, shelter medicine, government and academia.
Her professional interests include pain management and high quality medicine and surgery. She is a member of the AVMA, TVMA, HCVMA and ASV. She served on the Board of Directors of the HCVMA for 6 years.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Lem enjoys relaxing at home with her husband, playing with her two young children, two dogs and a cat. She enjoys spending time in the country, reading and watching movies.
