Surgical Services:
Dr. Lem has a wide range of experience and a high degree of surgical skill. We use a state-of-the-art surgical suite and top of the line surgical monitoring to insure the best possible outcomes for surgical procedures.
Anesthesia:
Dr. Lem insists on a high standard of care. Pre-anesthetic blood work is required to help identify underlying issues that might complicate a surgical procedure. We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient’s vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
Referral Consults:
We offer referrals to a wide array of specialists who can perform ultrasounds, CT Scans or MRI, endoscopic procedures, complex surgical procedures, chemotherapy, and radiation/nuclear medicine. These specialist help us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases. Ultrasound exams may also be arranged in-house and performed by a board-certified veterinary radiologist.
Radiology:
Our on-site, digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. Board-certified radiologists are available to consult on radiographs when needed.
Dentistry:
Our dental services include teeth cleaning, polishing, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
Laboratory:
Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
Permanent Identification:
We offer microchip insertion and can scan pets or strays for microchips.
Pharmacy:
We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick products as well as heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.
Flea Control Programs:
We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.
Dietary Counseling:
We will provide guidance regarding your pet’s nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
Behavioral Counseling:
We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression. If appropriate, referral to a board-certified veterinary behavior specialist is available.
Boarding:
We provide both day-boarding and overnight boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. We encourage supervised play and socialization of our dayboarders and boarders in our specially designed indoor doggie play area. Cats who are free of contagious diseases may spend time during the day in the cat recreation area where there are toys and activity centers for their enjoyment. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.
Doggie Aerobics:
Dogs can run and play together with an assortment of balls, frisbees, and other toys in our completely fenced, 1/4 acre doggie aerobics park behind the clinic.
Bathing and Grooming:
Routine bathing as well as grooming services are available.
Class IV laser therapy:
Non invasive treatment for arthritis, soft tissue injuries and inflammation, and promotes wound healing.
